FAIR WARNING: If you expect this to be a run-of-the-mill hunt – you will be in for a real shocker! This was designed to be a challenge that takes some time, patience, creative thinking & problem solving skills!
Recommended Ages 12+
Requirements:
- Cell phone with Internet access. This hunt utilizes QR codes and requires participants to be able to access various websites to obtain clues and directions. So a cellular phone with access to the Internet is REQUIRED!
- 4 digit combination lock. Preferably, one that you can customize the combination!
- Lockable container. You will need a container that can be locked with the combination lock.
- ~50 Plastic eggs (35 minimum) – to hide the clues in. One should be of a GOLD color – because that is the egg they will need to find to really get the treasure hunt aspect of this started!
- Small treats (optional) – to put in the Easter eggs (in addition to the clues for the hunt! Maybe jelly beans – or my suggestion – chocolate!
- Printer – to print off all the clues (and the additional hints – in case they need them).
- Scissors – to cut the clues apart.
- Treasure! Pick something that will excite the participants to find!!
- Treasure chest – to hold the final treasure!
- Bunny ears – It is an Easter egg hunt after all!
